The Merrill B-7000 Frost Proof Yard Hydrant (U.S. Patent #8,408,238) is our only hydrant the features a pull-down lever to turn on the hydrant. Designed with a auto adjusting plunger and valve body, the B-7000 eliminates the need for manual alterations. The elimination of the packing glad takes the worry of packing glad life out of the equation. A 1" galvanized riser pipe with a PVC inner pipe helps protect the hydrant's stand pipe from corrosion over years of use. Created with cold weather in mind, the incorporated drain hole allows water to drain out creating confidence in year-round use in all climates.
