| IDEAL manufactures a broad line of standard worm
drive and specialty hose clamps designed to satisfy a wide range of fastening
applications. |
 |
| We offer all or part stainless steel construction
and full size 9/16" band. The wider band means 12-1/2% more sealing
area over conventional 1/2" bands. |
 |
| IDEAL makes screws in 5/16", 3/8", and
1/4" plus Hex-Head and Safety Collared screws in stainless steel
or zinc plated, chromated, carbon steel. |
 |
| Our completely mechanical design locks the one piece
housing directly to the band using the full strength of the material
to provide maximum anti-shear protection. No spot welds to rupture under
stress or corrosion. A one piece housing that cannot come apart under
high loading. |
 |
| For applications involving both elevated temperatures
and the presence of chlorides, or any other special applications, contact
IDEAL for recommendations. |

| Insert band thru buckle from underneath. Pull band
snug about pipe and engage serration of band on inner lug. |
 |
 |
 |
| Bend band at 90° from buckle and engage outer tooth
with serration. Hold band down and tighten screw. |

| Drawing illustrates Lox-On compression at only
20 in-lbs. tightening torque on 160 psi (high density) polyethylene pipe.
This is half the torque generally applied to conventional worm drive
clamps. |
 |
| Patented, offset buckle provides full circle
seal. Lox-On conforms to the contour of the pipe. |

Lox-On compared to average of four brands of all stainless worm drive
clamps on 1" polyethylene pipe over a 0.985" smooth plug. |
